Our Sitters

The Sitter of Pawz employees are devoted animal-lovers!  Each will treat your pet as a family member!

Jan Archer, Owner

Hi! My name is Jan Archer and I am the owner of The Sitter of Pawz. I have been married to my husband, Brian Archer, for 24 years. I have two boys who are 16 & 13. I currently have two dogs, Rufus who is 5 and Lyla who is 4. We are also fostering a Great Dane named Johnny Cash. Throughout my life I have owned seven cats, seven dogs, two guinea pigs, two birds, one rabbit and several fish who have all lived long, happy lives under my care. I have five years experience with pet sitting all kinds of critters, working for someone else and have owned The Sitter of Pawz for the past 3 years. I am a firm believer in "the customer is always right" even if they are four legged, furry ones! I am committed to providing excellent care not only for your fur family but for you as well. I would love nothing more than to be considered your family friend and "Aunt Jan" to your pets.
